For as long as I can remember I’ve wanted to be a mom. I’m so grateful God blessed my life with my wonderful children and now I also have two grandchildren. My family brings so much joy, laughter and love to my life. Of course, being a mom can be difficult and challenging at times but it’s worth every moment of it. I’ve learned so much from being a mom. I always say my kids have taught me more than I could ever teach them.
For Mother’s Day I wanted to do something outdoors which didn’t surprise my family because they know hiking or doing something outside is what I usually want to do. I thought about going for a bike ride along the ocean but decided to hike since we got a bit of a late start.
We had a late lunch outside by the pool and then my daughters, my husband and I went hiking. We wanted to hike later in the day since it was warm out.
We had a lot of rain this year which we desperately needed since we were in a drought. Thanks to all the rain, the waterfall was beautiful. It’s so peaceful to be by the water. The sound is relaxing to me.
